The unique design required Apollo Engineering to develop customized electrical systems that seamlessly integrate the operations of a bustling grocery store with the demands of a multi-level parking structure. Another Publix replacement store is about to open at the Metro West Shopping Center in Orlando, FL. Apollo Engineering measures light levels to verify the installation and performance matches the design. This one is good to go!

Our Lake Miriam Publix store replacement project is nearing completion. This project, located in Lakeland, FL had a lot of moving parts, included building a temporary Publix liquor and pharmacy in adjacent retail spaces prior to demolition of the main store. The project also included all new site lighting for the reconfigured parking lot, and a complete facade refresh of the entire center, giving it a new look going forward. Our scope included the electrical engineering design for all phases of the project as well as dry utility coordination services for the Publix. The new store should be open in about two months.

This new project on 19th Ave. in Ruskin, FL is one of our current Publix-anchored shopping center projects under construction. The Wolf Creek Shopping Center consist of the Publix store, a Publix liquor store, and an additional 11,200 sf of inline retail space adjacent to the liquor store along with 6 outparcels for future retail or restaurant development. Apollo Engineering was responsible for the dry utility coordination and electrical design on the center while also acted as the prime consultant for all MEP/FP services.

Our newest Publix has Grand Opened in Briar Bay, FL. Store #1657 is an elevated 48 prototype store with parking garage and liquor store on the ground floor. The project also included demolition and reconstruction of an adjacent retail building, separation of the Outback Steakhouse, and new parking lot lighting with provisions for the future addition of up to 32 EV charging spots.
