In May 2021, during our ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ž๐ฅ๐ ๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐š๐ญ ๐ฌ๐ž๐š, the crew of the ๐—-๐๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ฅ used the ๐’๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐ฉ๐ž๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ ๐…๐‘๐“ to navigate one of the deadliest container ship fires in recent history.

Carrying ๐ก๐š๐ณ๐š๐ซ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐œ๐š๐ซ๐ ๐จโ€”including ๐š๐œ๐ข๐๐ฌ, ๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ญ๐ฌ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ก๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ซ๐ž๐๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐จ๐ง๐ฌ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ฆ๐ข๐œ๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐œ ๐ง๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌโ€”the vessel burned for nearly two weeks before it was destroyed. The fire is believed to have started from a nitric acid leak.
