State Convention 2026 Illuminate 💡🔦
As usual, Arickaree FFA made its way down to Pueblo, CO in June to attend the 98th Colorado FFA State Convention. While in Pueblo we had the pleasure of conferring 7 state degrees, recieving gold in the National chapter award, taking part in courtesy core, taking part in the delegate process, and honor one of our legendary owls from Arickaree FFA, Beth Ray.
Three Arickaree FFA Members (Jorge, Lizbeth, & Dayami) had the opportunity to present our chapter on the student showcase stage to highlight some of the events we put on throughout the year. Those being the mowing of the Cope Cemetery, Fall Festival, & Hired Hand Auction. Our chapter was, at least, a Top 12 Chapter in the state which qualifies us to sumbit our application to Nationals. Cross our fingers we have more good news at the National Level!
The following students where conferred there State FFA Degrees at the 4th session of this state convention….

That state degree is the highest degree a state can be conferring upon a student. The last and final degree is the American FFA Degrees, which a handful of this group should be eyeballing with a couple of years.
Additionally, Kane Schrock took part in Courtesy Core, a tradition that goes back decades within our organization, ensuring our members understand the importance official dress. Lastly, Lizbeth & Dayami served as our to Voting Delegate Members for this convention. They discussed business items at the state level and helped pass our fail policy that will stay within our organization for years to come.
