J&W Garage was founded in 1945. The original owners were James Auld and "Wegge" Wigren, hence the name J&W. It's original location was on Auburn Blvd. in Citrus Heights, CA, just a few miles from our current location in Antelop, CA. The Duncan family took possession of the business on January 16, 1981. We formed our own corporation, CAN-GRO, INC., and purchased J&W Auto Wreckers, Inc.

Before social media, before smartphones, and before anyone knew what a selfie was… there was the Rubicon Trail, great friends, and unforgettable Jeep adventures.

Digging through the archives and found this gem from the 1992 Jeeper’s Jamboree. Three Jeepers, countless stories, and memories that still ride with us today.

The trails may change, the Jeeps may get newer, but the Jeep family spirit never fades. Here’s to the legends who helped build the community we enjoy today.
