Dave White lost his right leg in 2020 and embraced life with a prosthetic—staying active and optimistic. In 2023, a severe infection led to the amputation of his left leg. Through it all, Dave continues to face each challenge with resilience. He says:
"Still Standing. Still Riding. Still Pushing Forward. 🏍️
If you had told me years ago—after losing both legs—that I’d one day be standing next to this bike, gearing up for a 4,500-mile ride through the original 13 colonies… I probably wouldn’t have believed you.
But here I am.
This photo isn’t just about the motorcycle—it’s about grit, grace, and choosing to rise when life knocks you down. Every scar, every setback, every detour—it’s all part of the ride. And no matter how rough the road gets, I’ve learned one thing for sure: I’m not done yet.
If you’re going through something heavy—loss, pain, doubt—I want you to see this and know that you are not alone. Your story isn’t over. You can keep moving forward, even if you have to rebuild from the ground up. I did. And you can too.
Let’s show the world what resilience really looks like." - 📸: thedisabledtraveler2025
