Well, it’s been a while, but it’s nice to be back in the shop.

This 10” Chef was a blast to make. This piece will end up for auction at the annual Rockford Lions Club Greenback dinner which will be held on April 20th in Rockford MN. Please see the link below for details.

As many of you know, I’m a sucker for keeping to a theme, and this knife is no exception. The theme for the greenback dinner this year is Woodstock. With that in mind, I chose my materials carefully.

10” “Woodstock” Chef knife

Blade - Hand forged 80crv2
Pin material - brass
Handle- Pressed H**p and a piece of plywood from the performance stage from Woodstock music festival.

You read right…. A piece of rock and roll history, complete with COA!

Owning a piece of history can be expensive. But not with this Halloween giveaway!

We did a collaboration with that did one hell of a job creating this knife. The handle itself has pieces of wood from the cabin from the Evil Dead franchise!

Just about wrapped up with this Hunter style knife. Handle, guard and spacer are about 90% finished and I need to re-patina the blade. This one is a beaut!! Can’t wait to get it finished.

Not the greatest light for pics, but the 11” fighter is finally done.

Blade is 5160 high carbon steel, the handle is Tasmanian Blackwood, guard and pommel are blued mild steel and the pommel nut is a chunk of mosaic Damascus. The handle has been oiled and burnished, and is amazingly comfortable in the hand.

Blade is 11”, OAL is 17.5” weight is 1lb 3oz and the balance point is 2” ahead of the guard.

This is an absolute beast!

Will be priced after a sheath is made.

More progress on the 11” Fighter. I spent the afternoon in the shop yesterday getting the guard, handle and pommel about 90% finished. Now to make the pommel nut and get everything finish fitted and pretty.
