Exciting news! At their recent May 2026 meeting, the University of Michigan Board of Regents approved the schematic design for an upcoming project involving U-M’s Lorch Hall. The project includes a 73,000 sq. ft. renovation and a 90,000 sq. ft. addition to the existing structure. Upon the project’s estimated completion in Winter 2030, Lorch Hall will be carbon-zero ready and will offer an increased capacity to support the needs of faculty, staff, and students.
