A student at the International Academy of Bloomfield Hills, Arha is passionate about science, healthcare, and finding creative solutions to real-world challenges. From designing a prosthetic hand as part of a school project to developing CAD and problem-solving skills, Arha enjoys tackling new challenges and is driven to turn ideas into meaningful impact.

This summer, Arha is joining Warmilu as a Business Operations Intern, where she'll collaborate on business outreach and new customer projects while gaining firsthand experience in the medical device industry.
Throughout the internship, Arha is excited to:

Tvisha is a student at the International Academy of Bloomfield Hills with a passion for healthcare, community service, and making a meaningful impact. Through years of competitive sports and her involvement with Peer Corps, she's developed strong leadership, organization, and communication skills while mentoring incoming students and encouraging them to pursue opportunities in science and healthcare.

This summer, Tvisha is joining our Business Operations team, where she'll be helping expand Warmilu's reach while gaining valuable experience in business development, marketing, and fundraising.

Kelsey is a junior at the University of Michigan studying UX Design and Entrepreneurship with a passion for designing meaningful solutions that improve lives. Driven by curiosity and a user-centered mindset, she enjoys uncovering hidden challenges and transforming them into innovative products that create real impact for underserved communities.
This summer, Kelsey is joining Warmilu as a Product Management Intern, where she'll collaborate across teams to help shape products that improve neonatal care around the world.

Throughout the internship, Kelsey is excited to:
💙 Learn how healthcare products are scaled from innovation to impact
📊 Explore how product teams balance user needs with market insights
🚀 Gain hands-on startup experience while contributing to life-saving technology

One of Kelsey's proudest accomplishments was founding a community startup that connected college students with immigrant families through free family portrait sessions and photography workshops for youth. That experience reinforced her belief that the best innovations begin with understanding people's everyday challenges and designing thoughtful solutions around their needs.

Inspired by Warmilu's mission to improve newborn health worldwide, Kelsey is eager to help create products that make a lasting difference for babies, families, and healthcare providers across the globe.

We’re incredibly honored to share Warmilu’s story as part of the 2026 University of Michigan Look to Michigan Campaign 💙

What began as a college project has grown into something far bigger - helping warm over 100,000 babies in 27 countries.

For our co-founder Grace Hsia Haberl, this mission is deeply personal. Born four weeks premature, she survived because of an incubator. Today, through Warmilu LLC’s reusable, non-electric IncuBlankets, we’re working to ensure babies everywhere—no matter where they’re born—have access to life-saving warmth.

Meeting babies like Adrian in Kenya reminds us every day why this work matters.

A huge thank you to the University of Michigan for this feature, and to all who continue to support and believe in our mission. Thank you for all of the support Michigan Engineering, U-M Center for Entrepreneurship, Ross School of Business, and Michigan Materials Science and Engineering for all of the support! It only took hand cutting 33,394 fabric and film pieces before we bought a CNC cutting table...totally worth the wait. ⏱️Huge thanks again to Good Pigeon / Briggs Design brothers Peter Briggs and Nate Briggs for the build and setup last Saturday!
