This guiding adventure was born out of some ideas with friends who are more like family. Who make my boat feel more like my dinner table, living room, and deck. The same place where I see my family grow and build character. I hope you see the fun we have and make the decision to do the same. Met an old friend in her same haunt. This is why catch and release is so wonderful on small water.

I’ve caught her for three years and she has grown about 8 inches in that time. She falls for the size 16 cinnamon flying ant this time of year. In the winter, small streamers. I’ve caught her 6 times, and now she’s between 18-19”.

What a great day, with a supporting cast that I hope to see again one day.

When you see an olive/orange crawfish showing up regularly as fish food you match the hatch. Today a new pattern prototype found the biggest one of the day. It was ceremoniously removed for replication right after. Didn’t see the dry fly bite I was going for, but it was a great evening on the water. Lots of fish and beautiful weather.
