A RACECAR…yes, please! We just can’t get over how cool this car is. 🏎️💨

This past Friday, ICE/ProFab stopped by to congratulate the following Trine University engineering students on their successful build.

The collegiate team completed Phase 1 of the SAE formula-style competition for the Allen School of Engineering and Computing Design Expo on 4/24. Next up, Phase 2 will incorporate the powertrain, electronics, and aerodynamics for a contest at Michigan International Speedway in 2027.

It was fascinating to see the creation come together at ICE/ProFab. Best of luck to Trine’s team as they continue with Formula SAE next year. 👏

Aannnddd…plasma ACTION! 🔥

Our Advance Cutting Systems CNC plasma arc table is cutting 3/8” steel plates for a ProFab project. The cutter is moving in a grid pattern to make the plates.

Watch as it moves from one plate to the next, cutting out holes and the plate shape.
