Cloth to leather on this Ford F-150 SuperCrew FX4. 🛠️

The factory cloth had done its job for a lot of years, so we replaced it with Khaki Alea Leather throughout, with Dune inserts and Dune stitching. The two-tone combination keeps it looking right at home in the original cabin while freshening up everything you see and touch. Front buckets, center console, and the full rear bench were all done.

Fun fact: the SuperCrew was the first F-150 to offer four full-size doors when it arrived for the 2001 model year, which is a big part of why so many of these trucks are still in daily use.

A little change of color for this Honda S2000!

We swapped the original black convertible top for a rich Bordeaux finish. Before installing the new Robbins Auto Top we went over the frame, sanding and deburring rough edges to help prevent unnecessary wear on the new material.

It’s one of those prep steps you won’t see once everything is back together, but it makes a difference.

The Bordeaux looks pretty sharp against the black paint, too!

A new convertible top for this Porsche 993 Carrera Cabriolet

The 993 holds a special place in Porsche history as the last generation of the 911 to feature an air-cooled engine, before Porsche transitioned to water cooling in 1998.

This one came in with a faded, worn convertible top that had seen better days. We replaced it with a new GAHH Automotive German A5 cloth top with a plastic rear window, giving this classic Porsche a fresh look while retaining its original character.

Porsche Boxster Door Panel Repair • This Boxster came in with significant gapping along the upper door panels. Once we took a closer look, it was clear the problem went well beyond the visible edge.

Door Panel Delamination • The upper section had separated from its backing, creating a large visible gap between the panel and the door.

Delamination extended to the interior door handle, The separation wasn’t limited to the top edge and had worked its way down through a substantial portion of the panel.

The panel had pulled away from its backing. A closer look shows just how much space had developed between the molded structure and the finished panel.

Panel removed. Removing the door card gave us access to the back side so the extent of the failure could be properly addressed.

Back of panel / internal structure. With the panel off the car, the attachment points, wiring and molded structure are fully accessible.

Delamination extended into the mounting structure. The failure had progressed into the areas responsible for holding the panel together and not simply the visible upholstered edge.

Repaired and Reassembled • The original door panel was retained, repaired, and reassembled rather than replacing the complete door-card assembly.

After • Panel Reattached : Reinstalled with the upper panel secured and the original fitment restored.

Cloth to leather on a 2026 Ram 1500 Bighorn.

For this interior, we removed the factory cloth upholstery and converted the seats using Alea Leather seat covers in Black Nappa leather, with perforated inserts and Sapphire Blue stitching.

The blue stitching gives the interior a subtle connection to the truck’s exterior color, while keeping the finished look clean and factory-inspired.

We also added seat massage in the seat backs, adding another comfort upgrade during the leather conversion.

This 2008 Porsche 911 (997) Turbo Cabriolet got a new convertible top in German A5 canvas from GAHH, but there were a couple of important things to address underneath it along the way.

The headliner bungee/tension component was worn out, so that was repaired to help the headliner move and position correctly as the top opens and closes.

We also replaced the plastic cover over the rear deck-lid latch. It’s a small part, but a common trouble spot on these cars — when the spring-loaded cover breaks, the exposed latch can rub against the top and eventually cut or tear the material. Definitely something worth correcting before putting a brand-new top over it.

One of the interesting things about this particular GAHH Automotive top is that it’s designed to be fitted to the Porsche’s existing rear glass window rather than replacing the glass along with the canvas.

A good look at how much is going on underneath a convertible top that you normally never see.

This Honda S2000 came in for a new convertible top, but once the old top was removed, there was a little more work to do than just replacing the fabric.

The previous top had not been installed correctly, so our techs took the time to address the frame, install the tension straps properly, and clean out the rain rail and drains so water could flow the way it should.

Once everything underneath was cleaned up and corrected, we installed a new Robbins Auto Top black cloth top with a glass rear window.

A convertible top replacement is about more than how it looks when it’s finished. The condition of the frame, straps, drainage system and previous installation all matter too.

This 2001 Porsche 911 came in with an aging convertible top showing wear and puckering around the original, and now yellowing, plastic rear window.

We removed the old top down to the frame and installed a new replacement top from GAHH Automotive complete with a new plastic rear window. On these earlier 911 convertibles, the rear window is part of the top assembly itself, so deterioration around that area is an important sign to watch for as the material ages.

The result is a cleaner fit, a clear new rear window, and a top that better matches the look of a luxury sports car

This 2023 Audi A5 convertible came in needing a replacement, and we installed a new factory Audi top to bring it right back to its original look.

The fit, the lines, the way the top meets the body—it all matters. And with a car as clean as this A5, getting those details right really shows.
