Patch cords can get messy fast when they do not have a clear path across the rack.

ICC horizontal finger duct gives the cables a place to run between patch panels and vertical cable management. The fingers help guide each cord where it needs to go, and the removable cover keeps the cables contained while still allowing access for adds, changes, and service work.

Full-length vertical cable managers can be awkward to move, install, and ship.

ICC’s 35-inch finger duct sections are easier to handle and easier to position on the rack. The shorter sections also ship in a smaller carton, helping reduce package damage and oversized shipping issues.

Stack two sections to create each vertical cable path. Each box includes four sections for side or center mounting.

What does a pre-terminated CAT6 installation actually look like?

ICC’s Cablesys HiPerLink CAT6 Pre-Terminated Cabling System uses factory-terminated, labeled cable assemblies with modular cassettes for rack-to-rack and other structured cabling applications.

These photos show the system from finished installation through modular cassette installation and removal, different connection configurations, cable identification, and packaging.

Pre-terminated CAT6 is especially useful when rack locations, pathways, and cable lengths are known before installation.

For plenum installations, check the UL listing, package markings, and cable jacket print before installation. If the price seems unusually low, double-check the UL listing and CMP rating before the cable goes in.

These checks can help reduce inspection issues, replacement pulls, rework, and job delays.
