Motive Energy was founded in 1979 driven by the desire to deliver the very best products at competitive prices. By 1992 Motive Energy's success left them as the only Independent battery company left in the Los Angeles area. Being an independent Motive Energy has the opportunity to align themselves with some of the industry's best vendors like DEKA batteries. In an effort to continue the company's

success, the current management set out to provide a level of service which is second to none. Since that time Motive Energy has hired the best talent available in the industry. It has grown from a company of 10 employees to over 120 (which 50 of those in the service department). Currently their are 14 field service trucks and 4 delivery trucks on the road. For those after hour problems Motive Energy offers 24-hour emergency service.
