We’re proud to be part of the team that helped bring McClure’s newest engineering office to life in Ankeny, Iowa — right in the heart of The District at Prairie Trail!

This beautiful new space was made possible through a great partnership with Imprint Architects, DRA Properties, Tesdell Electric, and Bell Brothers Heating and Cooling. The open office layout includes:

✅ Energy-efficient air-to-air heat pumps
✅ Fresh air ventilation with a dedicated outdoor air system (DOAS)
✅ Modern LED feature lighting in key collaboration spaces

The result is a bright, functional, and forward-thinking environment designed to support the amazing work McClure does in communities across the country.

🚧 Project Update from Resource Consulting Engineers!

We’re excited to share progress on the City of Ames Auditorium project! 🙌

The new lobby air handler is now in place, and the much larger auditorium unit is being installed right where the old one used to be. These upgraded systems will provide dependable heating, cooling, and ventilation for all the amazing community events that happen in this space throughout the year.

Even better? This project includes an air-to-water heat pump designed to ease those peak summer loads—helping the City save energy and stay cool during the hottest Ames days! 🌞❄️

🦸‍♂️ They say superheroes don’t wear capes… but at Resource Consulting Engineers, we’ve got something better: anemometers!

Armed with our trusty tools, we swoop in to capture airflow and supply air temperature data faster than a speeding diffuser. 💨📏

Then it’s back to the office—where the coffee’s hot and the spreadsheets flow—to analyze the data and help HVAC systems perform at their best. (We love a good mechanical room, no doubt… but let’s be honest, the coffee situation isn’t quite the same ☕🔧)

Another MEP adventure in the books. Onward!

🎉 Exciting news from Summit Middle School!

The new Pool Air Handler and matching Condensing Unit are energized for the Johnston Community School District! 💨💧

We're thrilled to see this critical system energized and supporting better air quality and comfort in the pool area. Testing and balancing are underway this week to fine-tune performance.

Next week will be commissioning checklists and verification to ensure everything is operating as designed. ✅🛠️
