Mobile Glassblowing Studios Mobile Glassblowing Studios is committed to providing excellent equipment for your dream studio. This is your ticket to creative freedom!

Mobile Glassblowing Studios is committed to providing all those with an interest in glass blowing with an affordable, simple way to experience hot glass in a wide range of environments. Using the Dragon furnaces we manufacture, we have been able to bring the world of hot glass to audiences who might have never experienced this amazing process otherwise, spreading an appreciation for how things are

made to venues not traditionally thought of as "art markets". We developed these furnaces and equipment with accessibility in mind - not just for artists but for the public as well. Low buy-in, low overhead, minimal maintenance and the ability to easily transport your studio will open up new business possibilities, and help to change the way we all think about glass production.

Repost from

A few other photos of Andy Lawrence in action, making some cups and doing some crowd pleasing demos on Saturday evening at the Fire & Story Festival. Maybe inspiring some future glassblowers too, and so many of them had really good questions and were eager to learn more. The Mini Dragon Furnace really performed well in the freezing cold, and by Sunday morning it was cold as ice, and ready to be packed up in the van and returned to the Pilchuck Glass School campus until the next gig.

I’ve been a little behind on the posting. All y’all who own small businesses probably get it. There is a lot of footage of the build processes I’ll continue to share.

This set of photos and videos show how we build our annealer controllers. These are the Tap II controller interface, 120V 15A capacity.

Progress everyday. All the 1900 and 2300 board is cut for the 10 for 10 small top loaders, as well as two standard top loaders. Tablesaw’s getting a workout lately.

Demolding! The casting session went really well. Next is time to take the molds apart and extract the castings. Some of them are trickier than others, especially those with the holes in the middle. Once we sorted out the technique, they came out nice and smooth.

Latest newsletter is out.

We are running the 10 for 10 one more time, as it is the last month of our 10th year. Offer expires December 26.

Let us know if you'd like to be a part of the next run. It will be the last time we can offer this deal, as our equipment prices will have to increase at the beginning of 2026.

Casting Day!!

We mixed up something like 20 bags of Kast tech 31 this session, 2 bags at a time. A vibrating table is used to settle the castable into all the nooks and crannies.
Once finished, everything is covered with plastic sheeting and allowed to cure for a couple of days before de-molding.
