π From administrative assistant to project manager, Samantha's journey at A&A Safety is a testament to what hard work and determination can build. π
Samantha joined A&A Safety in 2014, starting as an administrative assistant before moving into an assistant project manager role supporting Branch Manager Ray Brink. Her dedication and skill didn't go unnoticed, and she was promoted to Project Manager, a role she has now excelled in for 8 years. Today, she oversees maintenance of traffic projects across Northeast Ohio.
One of her most memorable projects? The RTA Tunnel Membrane Replacement at Cleveland Hopkins Airport. A&A Safety performed traffic control at baggage claim so the pedestrian tunnel to the airport could be reconstructed.
When asked what she loves most about her job, Samantha's answer says it all: "It's busy and a challenge. There's always a new situation that pops up, and you have to problem solve."
Her advice to those just starting out in the industry? "Don't be afraid to put the effort in. Keep your head down and work hard; your goals are attainable."
Outside of work, Samantha is an active member of ATSSA RTA(American Traffic Safety Services Association) and plans to join the board next year. She's passionate about the organization's mission to improve safety for both workers and the traveling public - a mission that aligns perfectly with everything A&A Safety stands for.
When she's not on the job, you might find Samantha tending to her garden or hitting the trails. One of her favorite hiking spots is Ashtabula County, Ohio. π₯ΎπΏ
