Today, we say goodbye to not just a friend and colleague, but a true mentor to David, me, and the rest of Altura. Kurt was a brilliant engineer and a joy to be around, always ready to share his knowledge and offer guidance. His wisdom and warmth touched everyone who worked with him.

Over the twenty-plus years I knew Kurt, he never told the same story twice, each one filled with his unique spark. His presence will be deeply missed in our office.

Rest in peace, dear friend. You’ll always hold a special place in our hearts

In our line of work, it's not every day we get to share something we've both engineered and designed with the public. But this project is different.

We had the chance to team up with Bobby Lee and Cesar Mejia from the famous Starlight Ranch Event Center to create The Bug Ranch. You can find it at 1415 Sunrise Dr, Amarillo, TX 79104, right next to the Big Texan RV Ranch and The Starlight Ranch.

Our designers, Seanpaul Renteria and Branson Fleischman, along with our Civil/Structural Engineer, Edgar Zaldivar, worked together to make this happen in just a few days.

We hope you all enjoy this new attraction as much as we enjoyed putting it together.
