CLASS A CDL - Position Available
Black Mountain Rental- Alpine

As a Class A CDL Driver, you will be delivering designated equipment as assigned and ensuring the operator is familiar with delivered equipment. Our CDL drivers oversee the safe loading/unloading of equipment and record/report the working condition of delivered and retrieved equipment, ensure the truck is clean and has current daily and weekly inspections, and monitor and schedule annual and DOT inspections as required.

A typical day may include:

Ensuring pre-trip and post-trip inspections are conducted and documented
Observing and reporting mechanical and safety failures
Maintaining vehicle appearance by cleaning and washing
Maintain all required certification, inspections, and medical compliance
Top candidates will have:

Valid Class A CDL Driver’s License is required with manual transmission experience
Minimum two (2) years of driving experience strongly preferred
Experience in construction is preferred
Commit to a drug-free workplace

Driving record violation-free for previous three years to include no record of any of the following violations:
Driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance
Leaving the scene of an accident Committing a felony with a motor vehicle Reckless driving Excessive speed

Have excellent communication skills with dispatch

Continually seek to improve maintenance and delivery processes
Ability to creatively solve problems
Self-starter and motivated to provide customer satisfaction
