One Year of L.E.I.L.A. From Vision to Impact

L.E.I.L.A. did not start as a business.
It started as a calling.

A calling shaped by:

• Loss, growth, and responsibility
• And a desire to help others find clarity in their own journey

This past year, I have had the privilege to:

Why L.E.I.L.A.?

Many of you wonder, why L.E.I.L.A.?

Leila is my grandmother, my idol, my inspiration, and my lifelong coach. She was the most giving person I have ever known. And by giving, I don’t just mean material things or money; she gave in every way imaginable. She offered support, advice, encouragement, knowledge, strength, and financial help. She had an extraordinary ability to give each person exactly what they needed to overcome whatever challenge they were facing.

Most importantly, she gave selflessly, never expecting anything in return, and often without anyone knowing. Many people learned from her, survived because of her, found happiness, and succeeded in life thanks to her. She was the person everyone turned to when facing difficulties; she always had the right words and the right solution.
Life had taught her so much, and she chose to share those lessons generously with everyone she met. Every moment spent with her carried wisdom. To this day, people still speak about how incredible she was and how deeply she touched their lives.

Eleven years ago, she left this world for a better one, beautiful and pure, just like her. A place that truly suits her spirit. She gained the eternal life and peace, but we lost the most precious part of our lives and one of the most precious souls in our lives. Yet she remains with us, guiding our steps, opening the right doors, and watching over us as our angel, day and night.

I have always been inspired by her to help others in the best way possible, precisely in the way they need it. That’s why I launched L.E.I.L.A.: to honor her memory, acknowledge her impact, and continue her legacy of giving, supporting, and empowering others. I know she is still guiding me on this new mission.

Through L.E.I.L.A., I strive to do what she always did: to help people in the way they need it most, to support them in overcoming challenges, and to guide them toward clarity, growth, and fulfillment. If I can achieve even a small portion of what she did, I will consider it a success.

L.E.I.L.A. is not just a brand. It is a tribute, a promise, and a legacy.

Sometimes, we get lost searching far and wide for answers/solutions, thinking the solution lies somewhere outside of us. But more often than not, the answer has been right in front of us all along, we just couldn’t see it.

Why? Because we are conditioned to believe that nothing comes easy.
We overlook the obvious, convinced that solutions must be complicated or distant.

But when we pause, shorten our sight, and look within, we often discover that the clarity we’ve been chasing has always been inside us.

✨ It all starts from within.
Trust yourself. Trust the process.

أحيانًا نضيع في رحلة البحث عن الإجابة/الحل، ونذهب بعيدًا نبحث عنها،
بينما في معظم الأحيان تكون موجودة أمامنا لكننا لا نراها.

لماذا؟ لأننا مبرمجون على الاعتقاد بأن لا شيء يأتي بسهولة.
فنغفل الحل البسيط أمام أعيننا، ونظن أن الطريق يجب أن يكون معقدًا أو بعيدًا.

لكن عندما نتوقف قليلًا، ونقصّر نظرتنا، وننظر بعمق إلى داخلنا،
نكتشف أن الحل الذي كنا نبحث عنه كان بداخلنا منذ البداية.

Nature vs. Nurture
Over the past few days, I ran two polls on Nature vs. Nurture 🌱🌍 and the results were clear: neither outweighs the other. The best outcomes happen when both work together.

Today, most researchers agree it’s not Nature vs. Nurture; it’s Nature + Nurture shaping who we become:
• Genes set your potential 🧬
• Environment shapes how or even whether that potential is realized 🌟
• Example: Height depends on genetics, but childhood nutrition can greatly influence the final result.

• Your personality, behavior, intelligence, and health are shaped by the constant interaction between the two
