Thor Power Corporation demonstrates a variable frequency controller/drive (VFC-D) powering a permanent magnet, alternating current (PMAC) power device, in a pump motor application. The VFC-D is a utility patented, third generation, called Trezium; the PMAC is a trade secret, fourth-generation motor/alternator/generator, called Grismir - together, called the Trezium power system.
The Trezium power system provides infinite variable speed, global connectivity, on-board power factor (PFC) over 99%, extraordinary power from start-up through all operating speeds, unhearlded system efficiency (for example, washing machines, > 65% @ 500rpm & >75% @ 16krpm), and quiet as a whisper.
