’s Will Methvin and Lindsay Wilson-Kokes recently participated in the City of Brentwood’s annual Environmental Education Day, engaging approximately 220 local high school students in hands-on learning.

By collecting and showcasing benthic macroinvertebrates from a local stream, the team demonstrated how these organisms serve as indicators of water quality and stream health, while also sharing ways to improve and protect these vital ecosystems.

The team members visited Gather Farm in Johnston, RI, where they took on the unique task of walking a herd of 20 goats. As they explored the fields, the goats grazed alongside them, and participants learned all about goat care and daily life. Bobby the baby goat quickly became a fan favorite!
