JOB OPENING: FIRST SHIFT/RECEIVING COORDINATOR

Job Requirements:
1. Informs purchasing of any late POs or damaged raw stock
2. Makes sure all products are 100% evaluated for counts and record only the findings of actual counts
3. Receives product deliveries
4. Records and checks quantity and quality of good received
5. Inspects, accepts, or rejects inbound shipments
6. Properly inputs received material into computer system and forwards proper documentation to accounts payable
7. Receives items from value added vendors (plating, hardening, etc)
8 Verifies items from outside suppliers (UPS, Uline, Fedex, etc) against purchase orders and then receive items in ERP System.
9. Investigates and reports on internal and external non-conformance
10. Checks material certifications of incoming material
11. Operates forklift
12. Manages south end shed
13. Various maintenance around shop
14. Manages material scrap recycling
15. Manage inventory counts
16. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
17. Ability to stand for long periods of time
18. Back up to Shipping Coordinator
19. Complete any other tasks assigned to you by your supervisor or the Department.
20. Be open to change and maintain flexibility

COMPETENCIES:
• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred; and/or 2 to 4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Be a good leader
• Make use of down time to be cost effective and beneficial to the company and your teammates

Being from a small town, it is sometimes taken for granted that people know and understand what we do and more importantly "WHY" we do it. To help educate people from our community as well as those from around the world, we are beginning a new series of videos to help people learn more about the history and the mission of Precision Machine Inc.

Our company has come a long way in the past 27 years of being in business. We are grateful to call small town Algoma population just over 3,000 people home. Here we have made a name for ourselves as a global manufacturing hub that continues to attract some of the most brillant minds. When you combine rockstar people with killer automation, cutting edge technologies and robotics the world starts to pay attention.

Big THANK YOU to Precision Machine, the Algoma Booster Club, and all of the athletes that volunteered scooping ice cream at Shanty Days that allowed us to upgrade our “the Gun” by Shoot Away! This new model will allow our athletes to track there shooting percentage over time and also has some other upgraded technology built into it. Looking forward to putting this to use prior to our upcoming seasons!
