We at Greenbrier Vintage Timberworks would like to extend our sincerest condolences and deepest sympathies to the beloved family amd friends of Jack Reed. Mr. Reed was an employee with us for many years, as were his two brothers. We would like the Reed's to know that Jack's family at Vintage loves him dearly, and he is already truly missed. Rest in Paradise, Jack.

We would also like to thank the wonderful people down at the Alderson Florist for their dedication to creating such a beautiful spray for his memorial.

Own a piece of pioneer history with this unique and beautiful log house!

Measuring 16 x 40, full two-story cabin.

Oak and hickory logs. Originally built in 1835, this historic Kentucky log house from Fleming County, Kentucky has continuous 40-foot-long logs that are supported by two interior log walls. This log house is not a typical “dog trot” style house with two interior log pens. This unique cabin is a 16 x 40 house with two interior log walls that form two 16 x 16-foot rooms upstairs and downstairs, and an 8-foot central main entry room that originally had a stairway and closets, and the original entrance. This cabin had original flooring, joists, doors, stairs all included. Cabin is metal tagged with drawings.

Reconstruction on your finished foundation can be arranged with our professional crew for an additional fee. Shipping to your house is not included in the purchase price, but flatbed transport can be arranged.
