So I’ve probably made almost a dozen sets of these ramps that I designed. Typically, trailer companies don’t really put much thought into the ramps. But so far, almost everyone calls a few days after receiving a set saying, “Why don’t you advertise these more? They’re awesome.”
I designed these almost two years ago for a friend who wanted something sleek but tough. I called them the “Fat Man Series” ramps as a gag 🤣. I went with a personal preference of how I like my trailer ramps. I was always annoyed by how bulky most ramps were, or how the C-channel foot would dig down into the asphalt.
That’s how this design came along. typical c- channel design, I made an angle-style tread and added CNC-cut 3/8”–1/2” saddle bars through the middle so they won’t bend over time. They’re also cut to the height of the angle tread to help reduce machines from sliding off the sides.
I also added a full tubular foot with large web supports. With just a little extra thought, you end up with a much better ramp, including a much higher load rating without over-engineering it.
I make these in 4 different variations, available with standard torsion spring assist or optional power, air, or hydraulic assist systems.
3” × 20”+ × 5’ ramps — 10-ton rating
3” × 20”+ × 6’ ramps — 10-ton rating
4” × 20”+ × 6’ ramps — 20-ton rating
5” × 20”+ × 6’ ramps — 25-ton rating
“Since this post has been taking off Starting price $2,300 10tons to give you idea, but Every ramp cost might be a little different to mate up to your trailer, add-ons, market pricing on material (changes weekly). So please either message the page or call if you are really that serious.”
