If you tried calling my shop and thought I vanished.. promise I am still here - ALIVE, and surrounded by more COOL stuff than ever! For the last 8 months, CenturyLink has been heroically promising " a technician is coming today." At this point, I'm expecting the technician to arrive on horseback like an old western movie! Because my business line isn't working, many of you think I am closed- I totally get it. you call-nothing. No message, no transfer of calls- nothing! To make things worse- I took down my giant 16" sign by the street to paint about 7 months ago. So yes... between no phone and no sign... I am the best-kept secret treasure location in town!! I haven't been abducted or retired to a cool beach somewhere..I wish! We are OPEN! We are CREATING! The shop is full of incredible handmade metal art, security window art, antiques, museum pieces, collectibles, plus, of course, our metals. Actually, we have a new line of ALIENS, Que Cute birds, Maya Series, and BIGFEET!! If you haven't visited in a while, you're missing out on some of the best pieces we've ever had- Come be a part of it! So I am asking- in the most heartfelt way- for my friends, longtime customers, and those who support us local hardworking artists to stop by, spread the word, remind the world and beyond that Koenig's Metalmorphosis is OPEN!! We welcome you to visit. REMEMBER- everyone who visits the office/ gallery/ museum always smiles! We need some smiles!

Koenig's will be closed Monday Feb. 2, 2026 for a funeral. A very dear person and those who love her will be celebrating her journey from this life to heaven! We will be back Tuesday the 3rd. Thank you for your support!🦋

Great news! We have added a few more listings to ETSY. They would make awesome one of a kind Valentine's or just cool anytime gifts even to reward yourself! We have darling little birds with loong legs! Que cute! They can come on several colors, and they are completely hand drawn, cut, welded, and painted! The dancers are whimsical and are delightful as the shadows twirl with them! I added a metallic bum to them for a cute smile!😊

We posted to Etsy today! I had help from a beautiful, wonderful, sweet cuz! Actually, she did almost all of it! Check out our post. We listed our "Que cute" series of birds. They take soo much time to make. They are hand pounded cold which takes longer for the metal to move, and the legs look so realistic, plus support our birds. We are very proud and excited. I hope we can adopt out these whimsical shadow casting sweet birdies. They are one-of-a-kind collectibles completely handmade at our shop by myself and J. Thank you to all our friends/family for your 50 years of support!

My dear friends/ customers. These last few years have had quite a bit of changes! CenturyLink has been unable to repair my telephone for 6 months, since June!! It has been a nightmare without phone service, and I didn't have a way to accept credit cards for almost that entire time. I can accept cards now, and a temporary number is 505-907-7009. We lost some of our parking on Zuni. We still have the inset and 3 spaces on Zuni, and Dakota St. is usually free. We will help with loading your vehicle, deliver to your car, and even stop traffic if that's what you need. HaHa! It's been a while since I was able to stop traffic!!! We strive to earn a 5 Star rating! We have been making quite a bit of art. We are also working to develop new, cost-effective, and improve our Security window art, doors, and gates. I love what we have been creating! It's exciting! I'm also now on Etsy!! I am on as KoenigMetalmorphosis. The 's is dropped! I will be putting more art on soon! Wish me luck, and hopefully, you will find a wonderful piece of art created by me, Dorothy, and J. We are the true artists, and you will be buying from Americans, locally! I am so thankful to all of our devoted customers that have supported us for 50 years! We have gone through many changes since Ted, Gene and Anne passed away! We miss them! We have continued our business with making the Collectibles, antiques, art, museum pieces, miscellaneous unique items all available! Plus we continue to cut steel, stainless, aluminum, bronze, brass, and copper to size. I am excited with the metal art we have created many are cold hand pounded like our cyborg, 6' roadrunner and 6' muscular Alien! We are hoping to get help robotizing it to move , light up and make noise! Maybe George R.R. Martin knows someone with those abilities! We are limited now with our parking. We will make sure there's a place and can also load on Dakota and stop traffic. May 2025 be a profitable wonderful New Year!
