Reinvestigation of old designs and prototypes. Will have to see where some of these go in 2021. I have several unique materials being delivered and will have a run of Texas Thumb Tacks available very shortly! Be ready for many different things to come out of the forge this year! Working on a small Scandi grind blade. I need to clean up the shoulders and get it in the heat treat oven. Have to decide which handle material I'll use.

Trying to keep up on my progress on the page as well. Each of these pieces of wood are getting ready to go into my stabilising chamber. Top to bottom are Eucalyptus, aromatic red cedar, wild Tambrin, purple heart, wenge, Bolivian Rosewood, Canary Wood, and zebra Wood!

Been a while since I posted here on Facebook, most of my content is now on Instagram but I'm trying to stabilize wood for the first time! I'm using a technique from Purgatory Iron Works using boiled linseed oil. Purple heart, bocote, and curly maple in this pot.

What happens when it's Christmas Eve and your shop is essentially packed up because you're moving back to the great state of Texas? You use a porta-band saw and an angle grinder and rough profile 28 blades! Much more work to do tomorrow!
