Optomec to present Advanced mm-Wave Packaging with Aerosol Jet printed electronics systems at !

Join Optomec (booth #518) at the International Microwave Symposium (IMS) at the San Diego Convention Center June 11-16, as we come together once again for the world’s premier RF and microwave industry conference and trade show. This will be a great chance to re-establish connections and make new ones live and in-person.

In addition to Optomec's exhibit, be sure to check out Don Novotny's (Optomec) presentation titled "Advanced mm-Wave Packaging with Aerosol Jet Printed Interconnects " on Thursday, June 15 at 2:15 pm in the Microapps Theatre. Don will show how Aerosol Jet printed interconnects can reduce insertion loss as compared to traditional bond wire interconnects, especially for mmWave frequencies.

Our Optomec Additive Manufacturing experts are onsite exhibiting at the NCMS Technology Showcase at the Corpus Christi Army Depot (CCAD) in Texas this week!

CCAD serves as the Army’s premier helicopter overhaul and repair facility. Optomec's Metal Additive Manufacturing process uses a technique called Directed Energy Deposition (DED) to build or repair aviation components with a wide variety of materials including steels, nickel alloys and reactive alloys such as those based on Ti and Al. The Optomec solution has repaired over 10 million gas turbine engine components including turbine and compressor blades, vanes, IBRs, seals and other components.

InnoLAE Virtual is happening this week and Optomec and Semitronics are proud sponsors of this event! Large-Area Electronics (LAE) is a new way of making electronics, including printed, flexible, hybrid, plastic, organic and bio-electronics. It is enabled by new materials that can be processed at low-temperatures, permits the use of new manufacturing processes such as printing and digital fabrication and enables products with new form factors, new cost structures and the potential for customization.
