Harrison Engines and Machine is celebrating 20 years in business in 2025. This is where it all started. I took the car I rode to Kindergarten, went bracket racing, and then turned it into the fastest NHRA K/SA in the U.S. at the time. How many can say they did that with street tires and a column shifter?!

It’s that time of year to freshen up your engine and the most power you can gain is with ring seal. Send me your block and I will show you what 20 years of perfecting the art of cylinder honing will do for you. Before and after picture of a typical V8 that was honed incorrectly and wore the rings and cylinder prematurely. Every block material requires a different honing process to achieve the proper crosshatch. Despite what most people think, there is not a “ universal “ honing procedure. When I hone your engine I need to know what type of rings you are using, as that makes a difference as to the finish. Set up an appointment today, it will be the best $400 you have ever spent on your engine!
