Superior Machinc, inc. Is hiring for the following positions:

Maintenance technician- Position provides technical support for the equipment troubleshooting, modification & preventive maintenance along with general building maintenance. Ideal candidate must have good electrical & mechanical abilities & be able to work independently.

CNC Machine Set-Up/ Operator- Previous machining experience required & have the ability to set up CNC machines, including lathes & mills. Must have basic math skills and the ability to read prints.

Shipping/Receiving Support- Position assists the Shipping & Receiving Manager in the warehouse. Duties would include but not limited to: loading and unloading of trucks, pulling parts from shelves, putting away parts, getting parts ready to be shipped, making packing slips, BOLs, etc. & be able to lift & carry up to 40 pounds.

Pay for the above positions will be dependent upon experience.

Superior Machine, Inc., is seeking a Quality Control Technician. We offer competitive wages based on experience & full benefit package. Previous experience in quality control is preferred but not required with previous CNC machining experience. This position is responsible for 1st piece inspections, in-process inspections & final inspections, along with corresponding paperwork.

Ideal candidate is detail orientated, reliable & responsible with the ability to show good judgement in solving problems. Must have basic math skills & able to communicate well, both verbally & in writing. Must be able to read blue prints & be familiar with the use of measuring tools & gages such as calipers, micrometers & a CMM (coordinate Measuring Machine). Must have the ability to/or learn how to program automated quality inspections machines. Overtime is occasionally required.

Drug screening may be required for employment.

Superior Machine, Inc is looking for a full-time CNC Maintenance Mechanic for our Ottumwa plant. Competitive wages & benefits package are available. A Maintenance Mechanic installs, maintains & repairs CNC equipment & tools in the Plant under minimum supervision. Previous CNC Lathe or Mill experience a plus but not required.
Job Responsibilities: Examines equipment & tools to diagnose trouble. Disassembles CNC equipment & tools, repairs or replaces worn or broken parts, & reassmbles. Adjust parts of mechanical devices as needed. Inspects completed repairs. Performs preventive maintenance on CNC equipment & tools in accordance with established preventive maintenance program. Cleans, lubricates and/or replaces parts. Provides basic maintenance to plant structure & performs electrical & light plumbing work. Recommend repairs by external vendors, vehicle or other specialized mechanics as needed. Documents maintenance work performed & maintains related records & file,including SDS. Requisitions new or replacement parts etc.
Job Requirements:
•Five years of relevant training in one or more of the maintenance trades to perform class of work ordinarily required of a journey man in these trades.
•Mechanical, electrical, hydraulic & pneumatic skills
•Familiarity with safety programs in manufacturing environment
•High school Diploma or GED
•Able to lift 50 pounds.
