Hometown Fabricating

Hometown Fabricating A fabrication welding shop. Hometown began in 2003 in a 24x28 garage. We welded sewing machine legs.

Soon after that we started welding bell-housing parts and grew out of our little garage in 2004 into a 2200 sq ft building. Our reputation for quality and quick turn around began to spread. We now pick up large volume runs from reputable companies and continue to grow to this day. In July of 2010 we added a 6400 sq ft addition to continue to grow our business.

A little reminder to live your best life each day and have a positive attitude. Check out Reed's story below, along with links to his page.

"Reed Havlik in the #4 Team Reed Ford Fusion would like to thank his many sponsors for stickers for his race car. Quick Time Inc, MDL Modern Drive Line, Hays, Lakewood Industries, Hometown Fabricating, Pac Racing Springs, Recaro, AFCO Racking Shocks, JRi Shocks, FSR Radiators & Racing Products, BAER, Driven Racing Oil, Jasper Engines & Transmissions, HF, Iowa Hawkeyes, STP, Walt Disney World, McDonalds, Gatorade, The Jesup J-Hawks.

This year we wanted to incorporate Reed's wheelchair into his Halloween costume, and being a Kevin Harvick fan we had to go with the #4 Ford. Reed suffers from a terminal brain disease called Vanishing White Matter. This is a condition where the white matter in Reed's brain is disappearing and as this happens Reed will lose communication to his body from his brain, eventually causing organ failure. Reed is one of less than 200 in the world with VWM and September is Leukodystrophy awareness month, VWM is a form of Leukodystrophy. We do all we can to shine a light on this very ugly and rare disease that has no cure or treatment. We do have hope; there are two researchers in the world working hard to find a cure and are getting close. They are at a point that they are testing possible drug options on mice and the next phase will be human trials. We have been given the daunting task by the researchers to raise one million dollars to continue this much-needed research. We want to thank you for your sticker to help pull together Reed's costume."
