Well, this is definitely something you don't see every day.
Today is the 100th anniversary of the first flight of the Goodyear Blimp, so all three US-based blimps, Wingfoot One, Two, and Three, are in Akron this week to celebrate, and they will be doing flights all week in the area to celebrate, including a flyover earlier today over our facility. Wingfoot One, based just down the road from us at the Wingfoot Lake Airship Hangar in Suffield, even got a new paint job for the occasion, going back to the original 1925 paint scheme. Happy Birthday, Goodyear Blimp!
