Today was a Pink-Out day at SWD! 💗

We asked our team to wear pink in support of the fight against breast cancer, and they showed up in a big way. Breast cancer touches so many families, including those in our own SWD family, and it meant a lot to see everyone come together to show support, honor those who are fighting, and remember those we’ve lost.

When we finished up at the International Fastener Expo in Phoenix, B&G Manufacturing Co., Inc. was starting to pack up and wanted to thank us for the Black oxidevwirk we do on a bunch of parts that go into making their Stud Master machines. 15 years. Countless miles. One great teammate.

This past Friday our driver, Darrell Dockery wrapped up 15 years working at SWD. Over those years he logged countless miles, braved Chicago winters and rush-hour traffic, and made sure our customers' parts got where they needed to be, safely and on time.

For many of our customers, Darrell was the face of SWD at their dock. That kind of reliability and friendly professionalism is what Better Service and Better Relationships are all about, and he lived it every day.

Darrell, thank you for your dedication, your hard work, and the miles you put in for our team and our customers. Enjoy every minute of this next chapter. You've earned it!

What a week for ! 🏆
MWFA FSTNR Week brought our industry together in every way that matters — service, competition, connection, and celebration.
🛠️ Sleep in Heavenly Peace Bed Build — Kicked things off giving back, building beds for kids who need them. Community first, always.
⛳ Golf at Cog Hill — A little friendly competition (and a lot of great conversation) with our fastener family.
🚤 FSTNR Week Opening Mixer aboard the Spirit of Chicago — Skyline views, great people, and the perfect way to kick off the week in style.
🏢 FSTNR Week Expo — Connecting with partners and customers old and new, showcasing what Better⁴ looks like in action.
🎉 MWFA 80th Anniversary Hall of Fame Dinner — And what a way to close it out. SWD Inc. was honored to be inducted into the MWFA Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026, celebrating 80 years of an industry built on relationships.
From service to celebration, this week was a reminder of why we do what we do. Grateful for this community, grateful for our team, and proud to call this industry home.
