In 2011, Stage Left Fabrication, LLC was formed by owner/lead fabricator, James Atwell. Using the years of experience he'd gained working for previous employers in various fabrication and welding positions, James started his modest company with the tools he had available to him. In an effort to fill the gaps in his experience, he also decided to enroll in the Welding and Joining Technology Program

at Chattahoochee Technical College. What initially started as a side project quickly became a full time endeavor, as James was both full time student and entrepreneur. By the time he graduated, SLF was really starting to pick up and the business was taking shape. No longer only the "odd job" shop, SLF started fabricating custom pieces for several return customers in the production and audio visual industry. SLF is now forging ahead, carving a niche in the Atlanta area with high quality custom hard sets, scenic pieces and carts for transporting A/V gear. The company is constantly being challenged by its customers with unique designs; SLF is up to the challenge.
