Garrett Container Systems Supports Community During COVID-19 Downturn

While Garrett Container Systems (GCS) is obligated to remain fully operational during the COVID-19 shutdown, it is taking the opportunity to supply face masks to local organizations, including, Appalachian Crossroads and the Garrett County Health Department. GCS has been a strong supporter of Appalachian Crossroads (APA) and when it heard that APA wanted to provide face masks for its staff, it retooled the sewing department the next day to produce face masks. Fortunately, GCS had enough CDC approved cotton blend fabric in stock that it had no wait time to start production and donated over 200 masks to APA. We just completed100 masks for the Garrett Regional Medical Center and we are currently filling an order for the Garrett County Health Department.
