Our Story

Beginning his journey in 1925, William A. Geppert Sr. showcased his love for the demolition industry by forming Chestnut Hill Extraction. There, he worked as an excavator and hauler.

Later, since there was a strong need for affordable construction and building materials in the Philadelphia area, William established a salvage yard in Roslyn. He’d supply these materials to clients, then sell the leftovers from the demolition jobs at the salvage yard. Today, Geppert Lumber is a thriving material business with a one-of-a-kind showroom offering a wide range of services, including construction tool and equipment rental and party equipment rental.
