👷‍♂️ Another MassDOT unit ready for service.
For this Ford Motor Company F-150, Blue Collar Customs completed several in-service upgrades designed to improve safety, accessibility, and overall functionality in the field.
✅ Installed an RealTruck.com A.R.E. DCU MAX Series cap, color-matched to the vehicle for a clean OEM appearance.
✅ Added a DECKED CargoGlide Full Bed Width slide-out system featuring 100% extension and a 1,000 lb. capacity, allowing operators to safely and efficiently access equipment throughout the entire truck bed.
✅ Equipped the rear of the vehicle with a Whelen Engineering Company, Inc. WeCanX Traffic Advisor to enhance visibility and help keep crews safe while working alongside active roadways.
These targeted upgrades transform a standard pickup into a highly capable work truck built to meet the demands of daily MassDOT operations.
We are proud to continue supporting the Commonwealth of Massachusetts' Department of Transportation by helping get their light- and medium-duty fleet equipped, deployed, and ready to serve the public.

We are very excited to have partnered with New England Truck Center on this build! The latest addition to the fleet, a Western Star Trucks 30TB Flatbed to move units to and from our customers shops limiting downtime of the crew and the truck!

Working with NETC was a seamless process and are very thankful to get this truck into service as quickly as we did!

Wait to see the final product after the graphics department gets ahold of it, and keep an eye out on the road for this show stopper in service!

Another couple of builds heading out for our partners at VHB—just a small snapshot of the type of vehicles we’re consistently turning out together. Each one is thoughtfully designed with safety, organization, and long-term durability in mind, ensuring their crews have the tools, visibility, and reliability they need to operate efficiently wherever the job takes them.

The Chevrolet 2500HD is set up with an A.R.E. by RealTruck.com Aluminum DCU commercial cap, complete with street and curbside toolboxes to keep gear secure and accessible. The lighting package is built around SoundOff Signal components, including dual 4" mpowers in the grille, a 17" nROADS mini lightbar on the cab, and full side intersector coverage with additional mpowers integrated into the bed steps. Out back, we added (4) under-tailgate lights and (2) in the upper corners of the cap to maximize rear visibility in all working conditions. Inside, a full-width DECKED Cargo Glide with 100% extension and a 1500 lb capacity ensures tools and equipment are always within reach.

The Tahoe follows a clean, functional approach with a streamlined lighting package—dual 4" mpowers in the grille paired with an nFORCE interior lightbar up front, additional side warning in the rear quarter window, and rear coverage with both exterior mpowers and an interior nFORCE bar. Finished off with WeatherTech® all-weather floor liners, this build is ready for daily use in any conditions.
