(GTA) has nearly 450 engineers, scientists, technicians, and support personnel dedicated to providing responsive and accurate services, and creative, cost-effective solutions to our clients. GTA focuses on geotechnical issues such as subsurface exploration, geotechnical and foundation engineering; groundwater resource and wastewater disposal issues; construction observation and materials testing;

environmental issues from environmental assessments through management of remediation for contaminated water and soil; and natural resource services ranging from natural resource inventories to federal and state permit processing. Project types include: office buildings, commercial and retail centers, residential communities, industrial parks, government and institutional facilities, and recreational facilities. We also provide infrastructure design and improvement projects including roads, bridges, dams, landfills, and utilities. We realize that our greatest asset is our people. Using standards established by ASTM International, ACI-certified professionals evaluate properties including strength, elasticity, hardness, and workability. These evaluations help teams identify potential issues early.

GTA provides Construction Observations and Material Testing (COT/CMT) services, including concrete testing, for projects across a variety of sectors.

Since establishing our Ohio presence in 2011 and relocating to Alliance in 2021, our Northeastern Ohio team has seen steady growth, a reflection of strong client relationships and rising demand for our services. This expanded capacity enhances our ability to address the unique geologic conditions across Northern Ohio, including sedimentary bedrock, glacial deposits, and high-clay-content soils that can influence construction performance, drainage, and long-term site stability.

🦺 Safety Week was a great success across GTA!

A huge shout-out to our DC, Quakertown/Philadelphia and Orlando offices for the fantastic job they did and for sharing photos with us, and to every one of our 30+ offices for participating and putting safety front and center.

We also want to recognize our dedicated safety team for all the hard work they do to keep us informed, prepared, and coming home to our families every single day. We couldn't do it without you.

June is National Safety Month, which is the perfect reminder that safety isn't just a week or a month long commitment. It's something we carry with us every single day, on every site, no matter the date on the calendar. Keeping ourselves and each other safe will always be a top priority at GTA.

Our Nashville-based wetland biologists are busy this summer conducting stream and wetland delineations for a proposed residential development in the rapidly growing Franklin, Tennessee area. Marian Rubin, a Qualified Hydrologic Professional (QHP), and summer intern Nicole Isley are GPS-locating stream flagging to support preparation of a stream and wetland delineation plan. This plan will be used by our client to identify natural resource locations on the project site, informing both resource avoidance strategies and the placement of critical impacts such as road crossings.
