HEMSS is a company initiated by Willem van Prooijen (MeduProf-S) and John Okuonzi as main shareholders and a group of Ugandan teachers and engineer

s as minor shareholders. HEMSS delivers hospital maintenance services, installation services, maintenance training and support for hospitals in the East African region.
