Meet Naturinda Innocent, a Quality Inspection and Testing Technician at Kiira Motors Corporation, contributing to the production of safe, reliable, and high-quality automotive products through rigorous inspection, dynamic testing, and quality assurance.
He holds a Bachelor of Industrial Engineering and Management from Kyambogo University and a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Uganda Technical College–Bushenyi. Naturinda has built diverse industrial experience across the automotive, FMCG, and steel manufacturing sectors, having previously served as a Technical Process Operator at Movit Products Limited and a Machine Operator at Roofings Rolling Mills Limited.
In his current role, he supports quality assurance throughout the vehicle production process by conducting incoming, in-process, and final inspections, performing functional and dimensional testing, verifying compliance with engineering specifications, and maintaining accurate quality documentation. He also collaborates with production and design teams to resolve quality issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
His expertise includes identifying non-conformities, supporting corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), conducting root cause analysis, and ensuring compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems, workplace health and safety requirements, engineering specifications, and automotive manufacturing standards aligned with IATF 16949.
Through technical competence, attention to detail, and a passion for continuous improvement, Naturinda contributes to delivering world-class automotive solutions while advancing quality, efficiency, and innovation in manufacturing.
