The Hope and Belief Charity Foundation was established in Ukraine by individuals and registered on October 13, 2005. The members of the foundation are people, most of whom have themselves gone through the difficult path of treating their children for cancer or are volunteers. The Foundation is a member of the Ukrainian Open Association of Volunteers "Live Tomorrow" and a member of the European Ass

ociation of Cancer Patients ECPC. Today the foundation provides assistance under the programs “Epilepsy is not a death sentence!”, “Pediatric ophthalmology and eye microsurgery”, “Children and cancer”, “Primary immunodeficiencies”, “Diabetes in children”

The main goal of our mission is to provide targeted medical assistance in treatment, payment of medical bills, and equipping patients with medical equipment and consumables. More than 1,200 families received medication assistance to treat their children over the 19 years of the project. More than 40 thousand donors provided their donations to Ukrainian children one-time or regularly.

Good morning to all our friends! We have entered autumn, and it is time to summarize what we are entering the new working season with. The main thing is that the goals we set for ourselves before the beginning of 2026 have been met! The number of families with children receiving assistance has already increased to 400, with a planned figure of 360 by the end of the year. We maintain the financial level of assistance at 1 million hryvnia per month, which also corresponds to the plans. In August, we “closed” 26 requests for children, of which 19 requests were distributed to communities with the permission of the parents. In general, the SVOYM project has already covered 183 communities and more than 10 new communities are added every month. The number of subscribers in the FB group is approaching 1,700 people. We held a high-profile and significant event in Novy Rozdil, which we already wrote about earlier. We received a “YES” from partners for the dissemination and development of a significant and important project with ICan sensors. We have developed several initiatives that require development and have significant potential, in particular a “school” project and an initiative to find partners among friendly foreign communities. Phew… Well, I’ve listed almost everything.

And we have also achieved something important and main for us, as an organization. We have formed a friendly and capable team of like-minded people who see common goals and are able to move forward to achieve them. And in this anxious time, this is extremely important – because together is always easier than alone. Of course, the events of the last months of the war create extremely difficult conditions for our work. But we will hold out in any case, because we have faith, support from people and the right path that we are following. No worrying doubts – we are moving forward, doing a good deed and everything will be as it should be.

Summer is coming to an end. It's going to be a long time, but what can you do? So let's congratulate all our little friends on the beginning of the new school year! And may this new year be a year of new discoveries, new friends, new hobbies and new achievements for you! And no matter what happens around you, dear ones - don't waste your childhood, because it will never happen again!

And we do our job regardless of the circumstances of life. Children receive the necessary medical devices, and we enter September with hope and faith that everything will be fine. Our thoughts about schools have become relevant again. Yes, it is the schools where our children study that can become another driver of our charitable activities. The events taking place in schools have already shown us how important and useful this activity is. By bringing children and their parents together, schools become the most important part of community life. And we are full of the desire to add another color to this life, focusing on those who need help from society. The main thing is that this color should be bright and carry positive feelings. So far, we have managed to do this and we plan to expand the practice of school charity events for the benefit of children living with DIA.

By the way, the school management goes to the meeting quite easily. So we are full of the most daring hopes for the further development of this direction. Happy new school year to everyone!

Friends, we did it!
Last week, on August 18, an interesting and significant event took place in the city of Novy Rozdil in the Lviv region. For the first time in the life of the organization, a local group of children living with type 1 DIA and their parents was gathered. The meeting took place as part of the development of our SVOYM project, the main goal of which is to establish interaction and mutual assistance in local communities. The event received the loud name “Keep the Five!”, which fully corresponds to the goals of the event.

We tried to make the meeting take place in an informal, pleasant atmosphere and leave only pleasant memories and feelings. Parents and children from 5 families gathered for the meeting. And this is a fantastic result, because in Novy Rozdil there are 8 children with DIA 1 registered. At the same time, two of the eight do not live at the place of registration. So, almost everyone who was in the city was present. The meeting place was kindly provided by the Inclusive Resource Center of the Novorozdil Council, where the event took place. For two hours, during the information part for parents, children had the opportunity to color a specially created poster, assemble and prepare a kite for launch. During the meeting with the children, psychologists from the Center worked, creating a positive mood around.

At the end of the meeting, children and parents received gift packages prepared for them by our friends from DiaDim, SaharokShop and Tovary bez sugur. We are incredibly grateful for the gifts, which became a very pleasant end to the entire event.
There was also an interesting part when children wrote their dreams and wishes on the ribbons for the kite. When the kite returned to the ground, we collected children's wishes and hid them in envelopes placed on the poster. Now we have a so-called "wish list", where each child determined what they would like to have as a gift. So, if someone from the Novorozdil community wants to make a pleasant surprise for a child, we know exactly what to offer. We really hope that with the help of caring fellow countrymen we will be able to make the children's dreams come true.

What were we trying to prove with this meeting? We are proving that only joint actions of interested parties can lead to changes in our lives. It seemed, but what happened? People who have a common problem gathered. They sat, talked and dispersed. No, friends! Everything is much more important.
Now in Novy Rozdil there is a group of parents who are able to declare themselves, able to define a common goal, outline desired goals and do something to achieve them. These are no longer just personal problems of one family, but a common need. This is a significantly different level of communication and ability. Everyone has strength and time, has relationships and influence on others and loved ones, everyone can be useful. When people unite, their opportunities grow geometrically.
By the way, we already have an agreement with the leadership of the Novo-Rozdil community to disseminate information about children with DIA among friends and partner organizations of Novo Rozdil outside Ukraine. And this is new communications, new relationships with donors and many other interesting and useful things that can blossom from this. Well, these are already certain actions that the community can give to its children.

Of course, all this is possible when there is an active person in the community who will find the strength and desire to create conditions for such an association. Novo Rozdil is lucky - there is such a person there. We are incredibly grateful to Polina Korpan for her ability to be the person who can set goals for herself and confidently achieve them. It was thanks to Polina that we managed to hold the first meeting, during which parents and children got to know each other personally, heard about the opportunities that our fund provides and the prospects for the development of our interaction.

Thus, the “first swallow” is already in the sky! As we planned, using the example of the Novo-Rozdielska community, we will create a positive example for other communities where we work. Currently, there are more than 200 such communities. We invite everyone who wants to hold a similar meeting in their community to contact us. We will help organize the meeting, provide all the necessary materials and pay the expenses. Dear parents, who have the strength and desire to unite and lead people. We will be glad to hear from you.

Have a good start to the week, dear ones! Let's rejoice together with Vova from Kozyatyn, who received gifts from caring people from his community before the start of his first school year.
People collected almost 70 thousand hryvnias to support Vova. This is enough to provide the boy with sensors for a year and a half. Thus, Vova will go to school with a good margin of stability and optimism.

The collection for Vova lasted only 10 days. In addition, the Ukrainian Alliance Charity Foundation joined the collection. This charitable foundation added 10,000 hryvnias to the total amount collected so far. This is not the first time that other charitable organizations have joined our collection. A very important and inspiring step for us, because this is a recognition of the importance of our goals among colleagues. We thank the head of the Ukrainian Alliance, Mykola Valeriyovych Filimonov, for his support!

In general, the people of the Kozyatyn community showed themselves from the best side. We thank everyone who participated in the meeting and wish Vova success in her studies!

We are announcing an interesting event that will take place in a week in the city of Novy Rozdil, Lviv region. With this event, we are starting a new interesting story in the life of the foundation and in the community of parents and children with diabetes in general. The first local meeting within the Community is being prepared. We start with Novy Rozdil, and where else? Because that is where our Polina lives, who is always ahead. Our goal is to gather parents and children from the Novy Rozdil community for face-to-face acquaintance, conversation about prospects and our vision, about options for joint actions for the sake of children.

The “Information and Resource Center” of the Novy Rozdil City Council, in the premises of which the meeting will be held, undertook to support our initiative. We are trying to make the event interesting for children, so we have planned several fun activities that will take place during the meeting. In addition, psychologists from the Center will conduct their work with children in a playful way. Well, the event should be both fun and useful at the same time.

After the event, all children will be presented with gifts from our friends. “SaharOk Shop”, DiaDim and “Tovary bez sugru” responded quickly to our request, for which we are very grateful. Their tasty and useful gifts will be a good addition for all children who will take part in the event. With this step, we hope to start a large and interesting movement in the Communities with which the Foundation has working relations. We will definitely report to you about the implementation of our initiative, the progress of the event and the conclusions that will be drawn.

Friends, we are reporting to you about the progress of the joint project with ICan sensor suppliers. Let us remind you that the essence is that our foundation undertakes to continuously supply a child with ICan sensors for at least 1 year. This works for those children whose parents have given their consent to participate and use the new devices on the Ukrainian market. And this does not mean that the supply from the foundation will stop after a year. Most likely not.

Well, recently two wonderful boys became owners of ICan sensors. On the cover, Kyiv residents Roma and Artem are happy with new gifts. Thus, 6 children have already been connected to the program. Not many, but we have plans to expand the project. Currently, we have formed a queue of more than 20 children whose parents have given their consent to participate. We will try to implement this by the end of the year.

And good news. The supplier has already delivered a new small version of ICan 6 sensors to the warehouse. It is much smaller and lighter in size. So far, there have been no serious comments about the operation of the sensors. Chat support, exchange and response to complaints are working. Therefore, we have every opportunity to develop this useful project.

Hello, friends! It's hot outside, and we all dream of rest. But we still need to work. We share good news. Today about Mykola from the city of Horishni Plavni and his successful collection. And more about how parents who are full of the desire to improve the lives of their children should behave.

Here is a direct speech from Mykola's mother:
- Our family is infinitely grateful to the "I Hope and Believe" charity for helping to organize the collection of funds for such necessary sensors for our son. We doubted for a long time whether to ask for help or to expose our problem to the public. And we have never regretted it. We understood that it was the right decision. Many people responded and supported us. Health to you and prosperity to your business.

We believe that you understand why we are adding these words to our post. The parents had doubts, but they did not regret it. That's the main thing. Of course, there will be doubts. Because we are talking about a delicate topic that needs to be made public in the community. But until we learn to declare ourselves, to draw the attention of society to our problem, there will be no improvements. A lot of our team's time and energy is now being spent precisely on forming in parents the understanding that if you want changes, then do not be silent. And the people around you will come to your aid. Even those you never expected.

In the case of Mykola's request, we went further than just spreading information on social networks. At the initiative of my mother, we wrote letters of request and sent them to the most powerful enterprises in the city of Horishni Plavni. And we have already received the first response and a donation, which will allow us to buy Mykola sensors for several more months. By the way, the total amount of the collection has already exceeded 60 thousand hryvnias, and this is still the final amount, because the collection is still ongoing.

So, deciding whether to make a request for a child public or not? is a personal matter for the parents. We only inform and emphasize the importance and usefulness of such a decision. Because only active and courageous parents shape changes in the lives of their children and their families.

Recently, Alina was one of the ordinary girls with a serious illness living in a large seaside city in Ukraine. It is not an easy life for an active and creative child. It seemed that all the bright colors of childhood would pass by Alina. It seemed that she was doomed to a boring and sad existence. But everything is not so. Today, the girl attends creative circles, studies well at school, and is willing to do oriental dances. Modern medical sensors help her in many ways in life. But the main thing is the positive mood with which Alina goes through her life. And the people around her are willing to help her with this.

For the second time, through the efforts of her mother, we are organizing a collection for Alina. And each time the results are getting bigger. Now we have managed to collect almost 60 thousand hryvnias. This is enough to provide sensors for a long time. Alina's mother works as a teacher in a kindergarten and most of the fees were paid for by the parents of children from the kindergarten, where she is known. This is how it works. The main thing is not to be left alone with your problem.

Yulia, Alina's mother, knows this well. Because for a year now she has been helping us organize fees for children like her daughter. We are proud of Yulia and are very happy that she has become part of our team. And no matter what happens in her life, the experience of volunteering will always be useful in her future life. We are growing, and our goals and achievements are growing with us. Working with us is becoming more and more interesting and useful.

By the way, Alina received another piece of good news last week! The girl received a new Medtronic insulin pump under the city social program and was provided with consumables. And this is also thanks to her mother's initiative. So, Alina will enter the new school year with a significant margin of safety and, we hope, inspiration. Congratulations, Alina! And we wish you success!

Friends, today we are writing about our successes. We have been implementing the project of helping children "SVOYM from the community» for a year. The results of the project are significant, but we have encountered a certain problem. Children living within large cities (Kyiv, Odesa, Kharkiv) do not have the necessary success of the meetings. The explanation for this is quite simple, because SVOYM works better in small communities, where people know each other well. So we had a question - how to organize good meetings in large cities so that children do not wait for help for months. And the solution was found!

We connected to the meetings in the cities a powerful tool for involving business in solving the problems of a particular child. It worked, and quite powerfully. 8 test meetings have already been held, and all of them are successful. The funds raised are enough to provide a child with a year, or even several years of using sensors.

Yes, Kyrylo from Kyiv has been waiting for his sensors since December last year, and his request has still not received the necessary attention from donors. But Kyrylo is not left without our support. By involving a circle of Kyiv businessmen, we raised 76,400 hryvnias to support him. And another Kyiv businessman directly handed over 22 continuous monitoring sensors to Kyrylo's mother. So, from now on, Kyrylo will be provided with sensors for many months.

We are grateful to Kyrylo's mother for her patience and cooperation with our volunteers! Nothing goes in vain. We hope that Kyrylo and his mother are satisfied with the result. And we are glad that now we will be able to solve the issue of complex fees for children from big cities. Let's rejoice together!

Good day to all, friends! We rejoice together with Zlata from the Volyn region, who recently received a gift from her fellow countrymen. The monitoring sensors that the girl needs so much have already arrived at Zlata. And all this thanks to the powerful support provided to the child by the community. We held a loud collection for the first time in the Volyn region and got an excellent result! A total of 89 thousand hryvnias were collected - over 60 thousand people sent to the Mono bank and 28 thousand to the dobro.ua website. Most of this amount was collected in the first 5 hours after the announcement of the collection.

We sincerely thank the readers of the My Lyubesh group, who responded and showed how to support THEIR children from their community !!!

We also thank the editor Natalia of the New Life publication, who also supported us with information and posted a post about Zlata.
Thanks to the support of caring citizens, Zlata will be provided with sensors for several years of use.
