At Salone del Mobile 2016 in Milan, MINIWIZ partnered with Philip Morris International (PMI) to unveil "Anything Butts", an immersive installation in the stunning courtyard of Palazzo Clerici, introducing the innovative Tetrapods modular display system to the world.

Anything Butts was born from a shared vision of innovation. Inspired by IQOS's Heat-Not-Burn technology—which heats to***co instead of burning it—the collaboration explored how forward-thinking ideas could extend beyond products into architecture, materials, and spatial experiences, demonstrating the transformative potential of circular design.

Built from recycled materials and assembled through a completely glue-free modular system, the pavilion showcased how sustainability and aesthetics can exist in perfect harmony. Enhanced with immersive lighting, audiovisual experiences, and iconic works by Italian designer Cesare Leonardi, the installation invited visitors to experience design through an entirely new perspective.

Why Tetrapods stood out:
-Crafted from MINIWIZ's proprietary PlyFix™ recycled material combined with bamboo charcoal.
- Functions as both an architectural lighting system and an air-purifying element.
-100% recyclable and reusable, extending circular thinking to every stage of the exhibition lifecycle.

Following its acclaimed debut in Milan, Anything Butts traveled to Rome, Bologna, and Modena, bringing sustainable innovation to IQOS Experience Stores across Italy.

Because true innovation isn't about creating something new—it's about discovering new possibilities in what already exists.

At MINIWIZ, waste is never the end of a story—it's where innovation begins.

Building a Circular Future with the Next Generation

This summer, MINIWIZ babyTRASHPRESSO joined ASEAN Summer at NTU 2026 at Nanyang Technological University, connecting with STEM students through circular economy and sustainable engineering.

MINIWIZ CEO Arthur Huang shared two decades of circular innovation from transforming waste into building materials and interior applications, to exploring new possibilities for recycled materials in mobility.

Through the babyTRASHPRESSO demonstration, students experienced how engineering and creativity can turn waste into valuable resources for the future.

Sustainability is not only an environmental challenge; it is an engineering challenge that requires imagination, collaboration, and action.

We are excited to continue inspiring the next generation of engineers, entrepreneurs, and changemakers to build a circular future together.

⚾️ Did you know the Taipei Dome VIP rooms are filled with stories of circular design?

In 2024, MINIWIZ created 16 sustainable VIP suites where every detail has a second life.

1. Each tabletop is made from discarded baseball bats and baseball gloves from rural school baseball teams, combined with recycled LDPE.
2. Ceiling panels inspired by Taiwan's mountain landscapes, crafted from h**p fiber and recycled PET materials.
3. Translucent table bases made from rice husks and recycled PS .(Modular bricks system)

Every material tells a story.
Every game celebrates a new beginning.

Because sustainability isn't just about upcycling, it's about creating value for the future. ♻️

Is the biggest challenge in sustainability inventing new technologies—or making existing solutions accessible?

In the latest episode of JEBCast, MINIWIZ Founder Arthur Huang shares how circular materials move from concept to real-world impact—from high-altitude schools at 5,000 meters to rapidly deployable MAC Wards during COVID-19.

By combining design, engineering, and material innovation, we’re proving that waste can become part of the solution for the future.

🎧 Tune in to JEBCast Episode 8 (Part 2) to learn more.

What if a hospital ward could be deployed in a short time?

During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, MINIWIZ combined its expertise in modular architecture, structural engineering, and upcycled materials to bring circular innovation into real healthcare settings. In partnership with the Center for Innovation at Fu Jen Catholic University Hospital, Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs, and the Taiwan Design Research Institute (TDRI), we introduced MAC Ward (Modular Adaptable Convertible)—Taiwan's first modular hospital ward concept, designed to deliver faster, more flexible, and more sustainable healthcare infrastructure.

✨ Key features include:
1. Hospital-grade materials made from upcycled aluminum cans, PET bottles, and recycled plastics.
2. Modular design for rapid deployment and flexible conversion into ICU, isolation, or general wards.
3. Enhanced infection control with antibacterial materials, negative-pressure rooms, and UV self-cleaning technology.
4. AI-enabled monitoring to support healthcare professionals with real-time patient care.
5. Healing-centered design featuring smart lighting, acoustic panels, and calming interiors to improve patient well-being.

By combining design, engineering, and circular materials, we're reimagining how healthcare infrastructure can be built—turning waste into resilient solutions for the future.
