天來美術館
式澳清水混凝土承攬「天來美術館」新建再生工程。本案最大挑戰在於將原有灶腳、牛棚與穀倉轉化為現代美術館，同時保留地景記憶與結構痕跡。我們以高精度清水混凝土為核心結構，採用嚴格模板拼縫、穿孔定位與分段澆置工法，確保大面積牆面孔洞整齊、表面氣泡最小化。混凝土表面不做任何塗裝，直接呈現模板真實紋理，完整展現式澳在清水混凝土工藝上的專業能力。
從入口僅60公分寬的側邊通道、稻草灰燼工法鋪面，到不規則斜面屋頂以清水混凝土結合銅片收邊，我們精準處理結構退縮、異質接合、防水與熱脹冷縮等工程難題。室內大跨度樓梯、挑高空間與三角迴廊皆由式澳自行放樣、鋼筋綁紮與模板工程一手打造，所有清水混凝土均在氣候控制下分區養護28天以上，達到最佳表面品質與耐久性。
從基礎到最後一道細部，完整實現設計師對光影與材質的精準要求，讓老建築在嘉義鄉間重獲新生。

TienLai Museum
Shih Ao Fair-Faced Concrete undertook the new construction and regeneration project for the "Tian Lai Museum," transforming an old Sanheyuan courtyard house. The greatest challenge of this project was converting the original kitchen hearth, cattle shed, and granary into a modern art museum while preserving the site's historical memory and structural traces. We used high performance concrete as the core structure, employing rigorous formwork jointing, precise perforation positioning, and segmented pouring techniques. This ensured that the large wall surfaces featured neatly aligned openings and minimized surface bubbles. No coatings or finishes were applied to the concrete surfaces, allowing the authentic texture of the formwork to be fully revealed. This approach perfectly demonstrates Shih Ao’s professional expertise in fair-faced concrete craftsmanship.
From the narrow 60cm-wide side entrance passage and the straw-ash paving technique, to the irregular sloped roof finished with fair-faced concrete and copper edging, we precisely addressed complex engineering challenges such as structural setbacks, different material joints, waterproofing, and thermal expansion and contraction. The interior staircase, double-height spaces, and triangular corridor were all self-performed by Shih Ao, from layout setting-out and rebar tying to formwork construction.
From the foundation to the final details, we fully realized the designer’s precise vision for light, shadow, and materiality, breathing new life into the old building in the countryside of Chiayi.
