陳立武：不會把別人看成競爭對手，看重的是合作。

昨天英特爾（Intel）執行長陳立武，在COMPUTEX主題演講說了一句令人意想不到的話：英特爾許多產品依賴台積電。

談到英特爾與台積電的關係，陳立武直言，張忠謀及魏哲家是他多年朋友，而且英特爾是台積電客戶，彼此有值得信賴的合作關係，非常珍惜這種合作關係，將繼續保持下去。

連輝達也一樣。陳立武說，輝達是英特爾的好朋友，也是英特爾最大的股東之一。

更讓現場有感的，是他和台灣的淵源。

陳立武用中文開場，先聊起前一晚去爬象山，克服1000個階梯、登高184公尺，對台北美景讚不絕口。接著他回憶，大約40年前，他在李國鼎的邀請下把創投理念帶進台灣，親眼見證這座「矽島」誕生，那正是張忠謀剛從德儀來台、籌備台積電的年代。

他說，台灣擁有從設計到製造的完整平台，而台灣的PC生態系，在英特爾的發展中扮演至關重要的角色。去年他特地來台慶祝英特爾在台投資40週年，就是為了感謝這裡所有的供應商、夥伴和客戶。

至於外界最關心的英特爾轉型，陳立武說，接任執行長14個月，他從一開始就認定英特爾要回歸核心，執行力是他工作的重點，英特爾是一家工程公司，所以他要求所有工程人員直接向他報告。

談到英特爾的未來方向時，這對他來說是一段旅程，可能是5到10年的計畫：加強財報表現，再導入世界級人才打造新的英特爾，第三步是提高效率、強化問責制度，而這一點他說現在已經做到了。

陳立武認為目前英特爾的重點是如何發展業務，如何讓產品保持領先，希望在CPU領域取得領先地位。

他指出，客戶和合作夥伴已感受到英特爾的變革，但這只是開始。
