In high-precision 5-axis machining, the key factor affecting machining stability is often not limited to geometric calibration alone.
When the spindle run at high speed and cutting heat together with ambient temperature differences continue to accumulate, the machine structure may experience thermal expansion and thermal deformation, further affecting TCP (Tool Center Point) accuracy, workpiece dimensional consistency, and surface quality.
Therefore, in addition to 5-axis geometric calibration, RTCP (Rotation Tool Center Point Control) and thermal deformation compensation technologies have become important approaches for maintaining precision stability in advanced 5-axis machining.
