This is a true story. This customer came from Fujian, China to the Philippines to invest in a factory producing plywood and blockboard products. He owns many Kuang Yung multiple rip saws, but he has never bought a brand-new Kuang Yung machine. He only buys second-hand Kuang Yung multiple rip saws and never buys other brands.
I asked him why, and he jokingly said that he could not afford new ones.
In fact, he is very smart. Due to the poor economic situation in China and the sharp decline in the real estate market, many furniture factories have shut down and sold their equipment to the second-hand market. Among those machines were some Kuang Yung multiple rip saws, and he chose to buy only Kuang Yung machines.
Why?
The reasons are as follows:
1. Kuang Yung machines are highly durable. Even machines that are over 10 or 20 years old are still operating normally.
2. Kuang Yung places great emphasis on standardized parts. Even for machines built more than 20 years ago, Kuang Yung is still able to supply replacement parts.
