Last week, we welcomed 20 students and faculty from National Chao-Chou Senior High School, along with a professor from the Department of Semiconductor and Electro-Optical Engineering at Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, for an industry visit and hands-on tour of our optoelectronic measurement facilities.

Industry-academia exchange is about more than passing on knowledge. It's about giving the next generation an early glimpse into what this field truly looks like — and helping them find their own place within it. 整場會議的討論多聚焦於測試技術,也再次驗證一件事
測試方法的定義,正是走向量產前的關鍵任務。
在工研院的分析中,
光焱科技(Enlitech)被列為少數能為 SiPh 量產測試提供「有意義解決方案」的技術之一。

對我們而言,這不只是被看見,
而是代表一個方向正在被驗證:

透過可視化且可量化的光學量測方法,讓測試結果真正轉化為產線可用的工程依據。
矽光子正在走向量產,測試技術也必須同步進化。

Enlitech participated in the SiPhIA / SEMI Silicon Photonics Forum today. It is encouraging to see the industry accelerating toward mass production.

Throughout the conference, discussions were heavily centered on testing technologies—reinforcing a critical insight:
the definition and standardization of testing methodologies is a key prerequisite for scaling into mass production.

According to analysis from ITRI,
Enlitech has been recognized as one of the few technology providers capable of delivering meaningful solutions for SiPh mass production testing.

For us, this is more than visibility.
It signals that a direction we have committed to is being validated:

By enabling optical measurement methodologies that are both visualizable and quantifiable,
we aim to transform test data into actionable engineering insights for production environments.

NVIDIA 於 GTC 2026 發布太空資料中心運算平台,正式揭開軌道運算時代序幕。在能源獲取受限的軌道環境中,鈣鈦礦與矽晶疊層電池憑藉高效率與耐輻射特性,成為驅動太空 AI 工廠的理想電力來源。

Professor Tsutomu Miyasaka, widely regarded as the father of perovskite solar cells, visited Taiwan on March 22, 2026, at the invitation of the Research Center for Critical Issues at Academia Sinica. In addition to attending academic symposiums, Professor Miyasaka made a special visit to Taiwan-based solar testing equipment leader Enlitech to explore the application potential of perovskite solar cells in satellite systems and emerging space markets.
  
  
At GTC 2026, NVIDIA unveiled its space-based data center computing platform, marking the beginning of the orbital computing era. In energy-constrained orbital environments, perovskite–silicon tandem solar cells, with their high efficiency and radiation resistance, are positioned as an ideal power source for space-based AI factories.
  
  
With over 16 years of expertise in perovskite solar testing, Enlitech has supported nearly a thousand research teams worldwide, contributing to close to 6,000 related publications in leading international journals. 3 nm Chips Can’t Afford Scrap: The Economics of KGD Screening

“Are chips now more expensive than gold?”
It may sound like a joke — but in the era of advanced packaging, it’s increasingly close to reality. 💰

In Co-Packaged Optics (CPO) architectures, Photonic Integrated Circuit (PIC) dies are often integrated with extremely costly 3 nm or 5 nm Electronic IC (EIC) chips through advanced packaging technologies.

If a PIC contains latent defects that are not detected before packaging, the consequences can be severe. Once the failure is discovered after packaging, the entire high-value module must be scrapped — resulting in substantial financial loss that mass production simply cannot tolerate.
