LCV is a family owned and operated company for over 60 years (the 3rd generation of the family now runs the business). LCV opened the first service department with in-house biomedical technicians for medical products sold by the company on the island in 1976. It is the oldest existing Medical Equipment and Supply Company in the country. It carved the path that other suppliers and companies have fo

llowed in the medical sector to this very day. Villafana & Co. Ltd. 1960 [LCV], was designed to satisfy the special needs of someone requiring proper care at home and was the first agency to rent and sell home care items – everything from oxygen tanks and oxygen concentrators, anti-embolism stockings, breast prostheses, wound dressings, burn garments and more” to the public. The late [Renny Villafana] son of the late [Louis C. Villafana], was the visionary and pioneer who founded VHHC in December 1987, and it was Renny who not only single headedly created the entirety of what is now known as the “Home Health Care” Industry in Trinidad and Tobago, but also coined the term on island. Renny’s dream was to make it significantly easier for Care Givers/Family Members to take care of someone where they would be most comfortable - at home. We have the responsibility for ensuring that everything is in place such as Equipment/Disposables and other Necessary Aids for their convenience. Our motto is “Bringing Health Care Home”.
