These shocks are an excellent option for someone looking to replace their oem struts and desire a premium ride quality. They will NOT give the harsher ride that full coilovers give

These can be used with the oem strut mounts and oem springs. Lowering springs can be utilized as well, Tein recommends their brand of lowering springs
