Also performs urban design and planning, project and program formulation and evaluation, environment planning and protection, social safeguards and development, field survey and data collection, project supervision, capacity building (through various training topics) and technical support in irrigation, hydro-meteorology, civil engineering and urban planning related including variety of management and administrative related trainings. The development consulting component includes;
• Relief and Recovery operations:
Humanitarian relief intervention, food aid for food security and livelihood, rehabilitation and restoration at country scale,
Horizons supports emergency response interventions from planning to contingency and relief operations. Develops plans to create a level of self-reliance for the suffering communities rather than counting on unpredictable and intermittent aid that turns them to be dependable and unproductive. The scope of the service includes rehabilitation and development of the livelihood assets and resources. This covers the traditional irrigation systems, roads and other amenities.

The planning team at Horizons International will assist the developer throughout the planning application process, ensuring the project obtains successful planning permission. We can assist the client/developer through the planning application process by providing/creating the necessary documents to support his/her application. Using IT systems such as CAD and GIS to enhance spatial awareness and problem solving. We can create design statements and supporting documents to ensure the development is up to standard with Local Plans and City Council aspirations. We can help the client understand the local and national policies which would influence the development process from inception to completion. Horizons (will potentially) work with a team consisting of planners, architects, landscape architects and designers providing a multidisciplinary approach towards ensuring the success of projects.

The procurement of contracts supports the logistic services, supplies and aid works. It is also extended to support consulting, training and export/import operations. Qualified procurement specialist performs the procurement activities in-country and overseas.
• Commercial agencies
Commercial services are provided by horizons through agencies of prominent products in line with the operations and the requirement of the clients. The commercial services are supported by the procurement and logistic operations of Horizons. General trading

Horizons has the capacity of meeting the storage demands in customized and sizeable spaces. It can be designed using different material, portable, installable and dismantled for easy transport and move. The storage can meet domestic and commercial purposes.
• Survey equipment
To support projects, urban/rural planning and development, Horizons supplies survey equipment for field and desk use. The supplied equipment are represented in level instruments, theodolites, total stations, GPS, rods, staff gauges, as well as planometers and other measuring tools. The pertinent training can be arranged if required by the client.
• Construction materials
Horizons provides supply of all type of construction materials for external and interior uses. This covers steel, bricks, tiles, insolation material, etc. including treatment items for civil works. The procurement and logistics of the company supports the supply, delivery and installation of the civil items.
• Emergency and Relief stuff like Food items, Clothing, Electronics and security equipment
Since Horizons operates in the field of emergency response and humanitarian relief, one of the services provided is the supply of all related items like food items, clothing, monitoring devices, security equipment, tents and winterization material for refugee camps.
