INTER – International Network on Timber Engineering Research etkinliği geçtiğimiz Ağustos ayında YTÜ’de gerçekleşti. Yapısal ahşap yönetmelikleri ve standartlarının gelişimi adına, alandaki yeni yaklaşımların, deneyimlerin ve fikirlerin paylaşıldığı bu buluşmada 16 ülkeden 66 katılımcı bir araya geldi.
Ahmet Topbaş, İstanbul Boğaz’daki ahşap yalı ve sarayların restorasyon mühendisliği projelerini detaylı biçimde anlatarak, bu yapıları ulusal mirasımızın birer parçası olarak teknik ve kültürel yönleriyle ele aldı. Boğazı’ndaki yalıların benzersiz hikayeleri ve mühendislik deneyimlerinin paylaşıldığı etkileyici bir gün oldu.
1973’ten bu yana kesintisiz olarak sürdürülen bu değerli etkinliğe davet eden ve katkı sağlayan herkese teşekkürler!
INTER – International Network on Timber Engineering Research event took place at YTU last August. This meeting, where new approaches, experiences, and ideas in the field were shared for the development of structural wood regulations and standards, brought together 66 participants from 16 countries.
Ahmet Topbaş detailed the restoration engineering projects of the wooden mansions and palaces on the Bosphorus in Istanbul, examining these structures from their technical and cultural perspectives as part of our national heritage. It was a fascinating day, sharing the unique stories and engineering expertise of the mansions on the Bosphorus.
